UTEC’s submarine telecommunication and power cable route survey expertise runs deep, from desktop study (DTS) and topographic landing to diver swim surveys, from landing, near shore to full ocean depth. We conduct cable burial assessments (BAS) down to 3000 meters water depth, employing cone penetration technology (CPT) coupled to conventional physical sampling with gravity, piston and grab sampling systems.
